After the Columbine-ish incident in Colorado last week, we start this week with another two school situations involving guns; one in Vegas and the other in Pennsylvania. The shooting at the Amish one-room schoolhouse in Lancaster County, PA is just a disgusting, tragic event. The Vegas school gun incident isn't quite as tragic, but it does leave the country asking, "What's going on lately?" Is it a strange phase of the moon? Or is this just the world in which we live? Either way, let's just keep our fingers crossed that these do not spark copycat incidents involving guns-enough kids are dead, let's all be vigilant and keep an eye out so no more tragedies occur.
